We provide a warm and friendly welcome to all customers at The Cross Keys, a community pub which sits at the heart of the Gainford community.
Louis and the team focus on providing excellent customer focus.
We are family and dog friendly.
Situated just off the A67 which runs between Barnard Castle and Darlington, we are on a bus route. There is plentiful parking both behind the pub in our car park and in front of the pub.

The Cross Keys Gainford
We have aimed at blending tradition with contemporary styling. We opened in September 2023 and enjoy seeing both our regular customers and those visiting the area.
Introducing food in April 2024 allows us to cater for the many tourists and holiday makers who visit beautiful Teesdale.
The pub at the heart of the community
Enjoy a game of pool on our pool table. We also have a dart board and are home to the local darts team which sees fixtures throughout the season.
We are a pub at the hub of the community and our visitors tell us they love the inclusivity and the feel of our friendly pub.
