In recent years we have carried out an extensive refurbishment programme inside and outside and the beer garden has undergone something of a transformation. A real suntrap, the beer garden is sheltered from any breeze and enjoys the sun all day and most of the evening.

And even on cooler days, there are patio heaters to keep you warm outside.

The ideal spot for enjoying a chilled glass of wine or an ice-cold beer on a beautiful sunny evening.

We are family and dog friendly.

The pub is accessible for wheelchair users.  We recommend entering the pub directly from the car park at the rear, through the beer garden.

In 1997 Ian Ross or “Rossi”,  as he became widely known, took over as landlord of this village pub and remained at the helm until 2021.

Ian ran the pub with his adored wife, Mo.  After Mo’s sad passing, Ian continued to run the pub alone.

Sadly in 2021 Rossi passed away.

His daughter Joanne and her husband, Adrian now run The Cross Keys.

Rossi was a legendary landlord and is much missed.
